Elton John goes in and out of fashion, but he never goes away, and this selection of songs is a reminder of why.

“Sacrifice” is the song of a 40-year-old man, Bernie Taupin, who had been through failed marriages and disastrous sexual conquests.

Inspired by Aretha Franklin and Percy Sledge music, the song is a lament about being insensitive to what you sacrifice when others suffer as a result of your pursuit of self-gratification.

It's knowing and clearly autobiographical.

The link, and so are the links of many beautiful OSTs, are dead.

Yeah I know. ZhenJin is mad hot!

Music was ruined by MTV. He is one guy who is saving music.

“That's the beauty of music. They can't take that away from you.” ~Red~ -The Shawshank Redemption.

Thank you for your comment. Surely, Elton John deserves the commendation for having brought with us to listen some quality music. In fact, the charts and records in the music industry shows it all.

I also read about that history of the song "Sacrifice" in one of my readings from the internet and although one sad song, but it greatly affected people undergoing such kind of feelings in life.

As to your request on the OST albums, I'm afraid you have to request for it one-album-at-a-time since there are also people who are requesting other albums and I also need to accommodate them.

Again, thank you for your time to read my music blog meanwhile...enjoy the music!

Oh and by the way, I don't believe MTV ruined Music. Music will always live with or without MTV. If there's no music, there will be no MTV and I don't think I can also live without music!
